Principal AI Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Principal AI Engineer, the successful candidate will develop tailored user experiences using advanced LLMs and predictive analysis, collaborate on ML solutions across Workday's product ecosystem, and leverage vast computing resources to deliver transformative value to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy new products at scale utilizing machine learning models and data engineering stacks
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance user experiences and improve product features through continuous innovation
• Lead and mentor ML Engineering teams, managing the development lifecycle and fostering a culture of collaboration and improvement

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data science or machine learning engineering, with a focus on applied machine learning products
• 4+ years of experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• 6+ years of experience in building production-scale services for machine learning models
• 3+ years of experience with large language models and real-world applications
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field; Master's or PhD preferred
