Principal AI Engineer
Job Summary
Experienced in building scalable AI systems, the full-time Principal AI Engineer will design AI system architecture, lead agentic workflow development, and establish model strategies, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement AI system architecture for content generation and business intelligence
- Lead the development of agentic workflows, ensuring reliable and predictable AI behavior
- Establish evaluation frameworks for AI output quality and production readiness
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in engineering, AI, ML, or data-product work; 3+ years with GenAI/LLM systems
- Proven production GenAI experience with systems that have handled real traffic
- Deep knowledge of LLMs and SLMs, including prompt engineering and tool integration
- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and vector stores
- Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with REST APIs, Docker, and cloud platforms
