Principal AI Engineer
Job Summary
Leading technical discovery workshops, the full-time remote Principal Forward Deployed AI Engineer will collaborate with customer architects and data leaders to scope AI deployments and translate complex concepts into executive-ready proposals.
Key responsibilities
- Run technical discovery workshops with customer stakeholders to map data sources and define agent tooling requirements
- Own the scoping for AI deployments, establishing clear acceptance criteria around accuracy, data coverage, and governance
- Translate complex AI and data concepts into architecture proposals for CxO-level stakeholders, defending trade-offs effectively
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Principal Software Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or Tech Lead in a data platform, AI, or SaaS company
- Strong customer-facing experience
- Experience with MCP, RBAC, OAuth, and RAG
