Principal AI Engineer
Job Summary
Acting as the technical lead for AI initiatives, the full-time Principal AI Engineer will design and deliver scalable AI solutions while collaborating with product management and engineering teams in a flexible hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the technical execution and delivery timeline for AI initiatives, serving as both architect and principal engineer
- Architect and build responsible AI solutions, guiding their deployment into production while ensuring scalability and interoperability
- Translate business needs into technical requirements, providing insights on feasibility and performance to support informed decision-making
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of progressive software, data, or AI/ML engineering experience
- 4+ years in a lead or senior engineering role focused on mentoring and delivering software products
- 3+ years of hands-on machine learning or AI engineering experience
- Proven experience architecting solutions across multiple technical domains, including APIs, microservices, and data engineering
