Principal AI Engineer
Job Summary
Shaping the future of AI-assisted engineering, the full-time Principal AI Engineer will design and evolve the core Python-based extraction and load infrastructure while mentoring engineers and driving modernization efforts in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Own platform architecture and evolve data extraction, load, and pipeline systems for 500+ integrations
- Lead the modernization of legacy systems into scalable, AI-native infrastructure
- Design and implement agentic development frameworks, ensuring code quality and system reliability
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of backend engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a principal/architect-level role
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development and building agentic frameworks
- Strong background in distributed systems, including Kubernetes and workflow orchestration
- Experience with reliability practices at scale, including observability and incident response
- Solid SQL and query optimization skills across PostgreSQL and ClickHouse
