Principal AI & Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the integration of artificial intelligence into enterprise workflows, the full-time remote Principal AI & Machine Learning Engineer will drive productivity and decision support initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop scalable AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Embed AI into workflows and analytic processes to enhance productivity and insight generation
• Partner with Data Engineering and Governance teams to ensure AI solutions are compliant and aligned with data strategy
• Mentor team members on applied AI techniques and set standards for AI development practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• 8-10 years of experience in machine learning or AI engineering, with at least 3 years focused on applied AI and production ML systems
• Demonstrated experience with integrating LLMs and generative AI into enterprise workflows
• Proficiency in R and Python for AI development, along with familiarity with ML frameworks like scikit-learn or TensorFlow
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale cloud data platforms
