Principal AI/ML Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the development of a cloud-native AI/ML engineering platform, the full-time Principal AI/ML Engineer will design and implement technology solutions while ensuring high standards of security, reliability, and performance in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and implementation of AI/ML infrastructure and services to meet business needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions and ensure integration with existing products
• Provide mentorship and establish engineering best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• 15-20 years of software design and development experience at a large scale
• Strong programming skills in Java and Python, with experience in machine learning models
• Demonstrable experience with distributed computing frameworks like Ray and Spark
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture tools and services, particularly in AWS and Azure
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; a higher degree is a plus
