Principal AI/ML Engineer

Job Summary

To develop and maintain scalable AI/ML systems and features, the remote Principal AI/ML Engineer will build and deploy Generative AI capabilities, design agentic AI systems for compliance workflows, and integrate evaluation frameworks into production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Build and deploy Generative AI features using foundation models and optimize inference pipelines for latency and cost
• Design agentic AI systems for compliance workflows, document review, and multi-step reasoning tasks
• Operate end-to-end MLOps pipelines, including deployment systems, monitoring, and rollback workflows

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science, ML engineering, or related roles
• 3+ years of experience building NLP/generative AI applications and implementing MLOps in production
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
• Production-level experience with Python and relevant ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI models and MLOps practices
