Principal AI/ML Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing data platform, the full-time remote Principal AI/ML Engineer will contribute to building and scaling production-grade AI/ML systems, focusing on data ingestion, DevOps reliability, and security compliance.
Key responsibilities:
- Contribute to the platform build, including data ingestion, transformation, and API layers
- Strengthen DevOps practices, focusing on CI/CD, infrastructure management, and observability
- Collaborate with Security and IT on data classification, access control, and compliance with HIPAA and HITRUST
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree at a minimum
- 7-10+ years of experience in building and scaling production-grade machine learning or AI systems
- Demonstrated experience as a generalist Software Engineer across backend, infrastructure, and data
- Substantial hands-on experience with MLOps, model serving, and data pipelines
- Strong cloud experience, ideally on Google Cloud, with AWS or Azure equivalents also welcome
