Principal AI Ops Engineer

Job Summary

The full-time remote Principal AI Ops Engineer will build and maintain the infrastructure for AI-powered products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop deployment pipelines, manage runtime environments, and ensure cost visibility for AI services.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and maintain end-to-end deployment pipelines for AI applications, driving new deployment platforms from initial build to standard use
• Operate the runtime and lifecycle infrastructure for production agents, defining deployment contracts and operational SLOs
• Design and build a shared developer harness for AI services, facilitating prompt management, model routing, and policy enforcement

Required qualifications:

• BS (or higher) in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent technical experience
• 6+ years of platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering experience, including 2+ years with AI/ML systems
• Deep experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines for high-velocity engineering organizations
• Strong AWS background with hands-on experience in IAM, networking, and container orchestration
• Fluency in Python or TypeScript, with experience in a polyglot environment spanning multiple programming languages
