Principal AI Platform Architect

Job Summary

Owning the overall solution architecture for a governed, multi-modal infrastructure self-service platform, the full-time remote Principal AI Platform Architect will lead technical governance, manage architecture decisions, and guide design conversations for a financial services client on Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture across all delivery milestones, including service catalog and governance pipeline
• Lead assessment of existing infrastructure and produce standards guides and remediation recommendations
• Architect the golden path GitHub Actions workflow and direct identity and access architecture for the platform

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering with at least 4 years in a lead architect role
• Strong proficiency in Python/GO for backend services and API design
• Hands-on experience with Azure and Terraform, including CI/CD pipeline architecture in GitHub Actions
• Experience designing systems that integrate LLM-based conversational agents with backend automation
• Demonstrated experience in a client-facing architecture role within a regulated or financial services environment
