Principal AI Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the technical vision for the AI platform, the full-time Principal AI Platform Engineer will architect systems that enhance agent reasoning, scale knowledge retrieval, and improve developer experience while collaborating with product engineering teams across various divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Define the architecture for Agents, Skills, and Tools to enhance platform capabilities
• Scale the context graph to transform extensive operational data into customer-specific intelligence
• Build and maintain the developer experience, ensuring agent orchestration and observability at scale

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend systems and distributed architecture
• 3+ years of experience building ML or LLM-powered systems in production
• Proven track record of technical leadership at the Principal level across multiple teams
• Strong expertise in Python, including API design and data pipeline development
• Experience treating developer experience as a product, focusing on adoption and documentation
