Principal AI Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Principal AI Platform Engineer, the full-time remote position will architect and build the core AI Platform, including the MCP gateway and AI portal, while setting technical standards and collaborating with engineering teams to enhance workflows with AI capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build the core components of the AI Platform, including the MCP gateway and identity brokering layer
• Code complex solutions and establish technical standards for the platform
• Design secure integrations between internal systems and AI agents, ensuring proper authentication and authorization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 7 years of relevant software engineering experience
• Deep experience building and operating production backend services and developer platforms
• Mastery of modern programming languages such as Python and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of REST API design and microservices architecture
