Principal AI Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Focusing on enterprise-facing software development, the full-time remote Principal AI Platform Engineer will build and operate platforms using AI workflows, manage code standards, and ensure system resiliency while participating in on-call rotations for 24/7 coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize AI to enhance software development processes, including code creation, testing, and performance optimization
• Set standards for AI-generated code and automate infrastructure provisioning using infrastructure-as-code
• Act as a senior escalation path, reviewing code and cross-training engineers while ensuring system security and resiliency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience
• Hands-on experience with cloud computing design and deploying IaaS/PaaS systems in Azure
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, along with experience in enterprise networks
• Knowledge of CIS security best practices and business continuity/disaster recovery practices
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Argo, and tools for infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform and Ansible
