Principal AI Platform Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of a cohesive AI platform, the full-time remote Principal AI Platform Engineer will manage the integration of various AI tools, oversee Azure-based production infrastructure, and ensure secure backend operations while mentoring engineering team members.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce platform standards for AI tool orchestration and metadata management
• Build and maintain Azure-based production infrastructure, including networking and deployment patterns
• Implement CI/CD processes and deepen LLMOps capabilities for automated evaluations and feedback loops

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in engineering or related fields
• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline preferred
• Strong experience with Python backend engineering and API integrations
• Hands-on experience with Azure platform services, especially Container Apps and PostgreSQL
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Azure DevOps
