Principal AI Research Scientist

Job Summary

Serving as the technical authority for complex AI projects, the full-time Principal AI Research Scientist will provide expertise on model behavior, benchmarking methodologies, and evaluation systems in a remote and flexible role.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in solution discussions, assess project feasibility, and recommend evaluation approaches
• Create benchmark datasets and define model-evaluation strategies while developing agent-evaluation frameworks
• Stay current on AI advancements and support capability development by introducing emerging best practices

Required qualifications

• 8-12+ years of experience in AI/ML research or applied AI
• PhD preferred in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Statistics
• Expertise in large language models, AI agents, synthetic data, and reinforcement learning
• Strong written English with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
