Principal AI Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal AI Scientist.

Key Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for AI systems in partnership with the CTO
• Drive improvements in model accuracy, robustness, explainability, and latency
• Establish best practices for model lifecycle management and serve as a technical authority for AI/ML

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in machine learning, applied AI, or data science
• Familiarity with AI tooling and infrastructure (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Deep expertise in relevant areas such as machine learning or generative AI
• Strong experience building and maintaining systems, including data pipelines and deployment
• Demonstrated ability to drive technical direction across multiple teams
