Principal AI Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Principal AI Software Engineer who will leverage AI agents to independently manage product initiatives from requirements to production-ready software while collaborating closely with Product and Design teams.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Design to translate business requirements into technical specifications and implementation plans
- Build and own products end-to-end, managing technical execution and ongoing improvements post-launch
- Operate an AI-native development environment, utilizing Claude Code to orchestrate multiple agents and automate the product development lifecycle
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software development experience at a Staff or Principal engineering level
- Expert-level experience with Claude Code, demonstrating substantial product development capabilities
- Production experience with TypeScript/Node.js and MongoDB, along with relational databases
- Hands-on experience deploying software in cloud environments such as AWS or GCP
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical plans and maintain high engineering quality
