Principal AI Strategist
Job Summary
To support clients in transitioning from AI ambition to production-ready solutions, the contracted-to-full-time Principal AI Strategist will lead workshops, drive AI transformation initiatives, and oversee project teams while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead workshops and AI strategy engagements, guiding clients through opportunity framing and production delivery oversight
- Define AI investment strategies and support client transformation by shaping AI vision, roadmaps, and technical approaches
- Collaborate with engineering and data teams to assess readiness and make solution decisions, ensuring alignment with business outcomes
Required qualifications
- AI degree or equivalent applied background with a focus on technical and business-facing AI strategy
- 10+ years of total professional experience, including 3+ years in AI or related strategy roles
- Experience leading client-facing strategy and transformation engagements in AI product strategy
- Direct hands-on experience in building or prototyping AI-enabled solutions
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, including LLMs, embeddings, and AI governance
