Principal AI Strategy Leader
Job Summary
To drive the transformation of AI into a measurable engineering capability, the full-time remote Principal AI Strategy Leader will define the strategy for AI-assisted software delivery, build prototypes, and facilitate the adoption of AI workflows across various teams within the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Define and maintain the strategy and roadmap for AI-assisted software engineering, evaluating development tools and recommending best practices
- Design, prototype, and implement AI-assisted workflows for coding and testing, collaborating with engineering teams to move concepts to production
- Run structured pilots with engineering teams to validate workflows and build adoption through training and support programs
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, technical product leadership, or enterprise technology transformation
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted workflows, generative AI tools, and developer automation
- Strong understanding of the software delivery lifecycle, including CI/CD and secure development practices
- Proficiency in programming, scripting, and using APIs for workflow automation
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority
