Principal AI Workflow Engineer

Job Summary

Driving enterprise-wide AI workflow modernization, the full-time remote Principal AI Workflow Engineer will lead automation strategy, enhance operational efficiency, and collaborate with clinical operations teams to design and implement AI-driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions to assess current processes and identify automation opportunities
• Architect and develop automated workflows that integrate with internal and external systems while ensuring compliance
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, guiding automation strategy and facilitating stakeholder education

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's preferred
• 5+ years of experience in workflow automation, process redesign, or software engineering
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with AI, LLM-based agents, or intelligent automation
• Strong proficiency in Python and associated AI/ML libraries and frameworks
• Experience with APIs, orchestration, and integration patterns
