Principal Application Architect

Job Summary

To support healthcare initiatives, the remote Principal Application Architect will define end-to-end application and solution architectures, manage architecture resources across projects, and mentor junior staff while ensuring quality deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Define application and solution architectures for customer initiatives across various domains including business, information, and security
• Conduct architecture impact assessments, prepare technical documentation, and present solutions to the Account Architecture Review Board
• Mentor junior architecture staff and perform final reviews on document deliverables for quality assurance

Required qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience in application architecture and/or product development
• Familiarity with architecture framework methodologies such as TOGAF
• Experience in software systems, application design principles, and cloud technologies
• Leadership skills to guide and mentor less experienced personnel
• Strongly preferred experience in Enterprise Architecture within a healthcare environment
