Principal Application Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Application Engineer to join their software development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of full stack solutions using React.js and Spring Boot
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership while ensuring code quality and best practices
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, deployment, and maintenance

Required Qualifications and Education

• Extensive experience in software development, particularly with React.js and Spring Boot
• Proven track record in leading software projects and mentoring engineering teams
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with application performance optimization and security best practices
• Knowledge of property and casualty insurance concepts and related business processes is a plus
