Principal Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Application Security Engineer to lead and evolve its application security strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance security posture to protect infrastructure, systems, and data from cyber threats
• Define and implement secure development practices throughout the software development lifecycle
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective security measures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cyber Security, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in application security
• OSCP and OSWE certifications (or similar) demonstrating proficiency in network and web assessments
• Mastery of application security tooling and platforms
• Proficient coder in at least 3 languages, with strong skills in Java, Spring, and NextJS
