Principal Applications Architect

Job Summary

Driving transformational opportunities, the full-time Principal Applications Architect will shape the application technology landscape, ensuring scalability and security while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver robust application architectures in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and oversee the implementation of enterprise-level application solutions aligned with business objectives
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technology leaders to evaluate and recommend tools and frameworks for current and future business needs
• Analyze system performance and implement improvements to enhance scalability, reliability, and overall efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or a minimum of six years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
• Expert-level experience in aligning purchased software with enterprise architecture frameworks
• Knowledge of cloud integration patterns (SaaS, PaaS)
• Experience leading or facilitating application selection processes (RFPs, RFIs)
• Proven ability to connect purchased solutions to existing systems within the environment
