Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Applied Scientist, Experimentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead evaluations of current experimentation practices to identify strengths and areas for improvement
• Design, validate, and scale statistical methodologies for experimentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable tools and frameworks for experimentation

Required Qualifications

• PhD with 6+ years or MS with 8+ years of experience in Statistics, Econometrics, Machine Learning, or a related field
• Deep expertise in online experimentation, including frequentist and Bayesian methods
• Proven track record of designing and scaling statistical frameworks for experimentation
• Strong understanding of challenges in online experimentation platforms and solutions
• Proficiency in scientific computing tools and languages such as Python, R, and SQL
