Principal Applied Scientist

Job Summary

Shaping the future of AI in healthcare, the full-time remote Principal Applied Scientist will develop generative AI solutions, collaborate with product managers and technical leaders, and mentor junior and senior scientists.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into AI projects
• Design and review the architecture of AI solutions, ensuring best practices in data and model management
• Lead and mentor applied scientists while driving projects from research proof of concept to production

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing scalable AI models for production
• Deep technical understanding of machine learning and deep learning architectures, particularly Transformers
• Practical experience with LLM and generative AI technologies, including parameter-efficient fine-tuning
• Hands-on experience with emerging LLM frameworks and plugins
• Strong publication record in top-tier journals or conferences related to AI and machine learning
