Job Summary
Driving the science direction for advanced reasoning and long-running agent systems, the full-time remote Principal Applied Scientist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the science roadmap and enhance customer experiences through innovative AI solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement the applied science strategy for advanced reasoning and long-running agent systems, focusing on innovation and customer value
- Advance agent capabilities through architecture design, context and memory engineering, and rigorous evaluation frameworks
- Communicate scientific insights and technical trade-offs to influence product and platform strategy among senior stakeholders
Required qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of industry experience in building and deploying large-scale AI systems
- Deep expertise in large language models and agentic AI, with a history of turning research into reliable systems
- Extensive hands-on experience in agent architecture, context and memory engineering, and evaluation frameworks
- Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with measurable impact
