Principal Architect

Job Summary

Leading the design of scalable and secure enterprise solutions, the full-time remote Principal Architect will manage application and data architecture, integration, and strategic architecture initiatives while collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Architect major application components and processes, providing guidance and support to developers and engineers
• Model data for transactional and data warehouse databases, maintaining data dictionaries and coordinating enhancements
• Define and coordinate internal and external application integration, maintaining relationships with external counterparts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 12+ years of IT experience, with at least 6 years in application, data, integration, or strategic architecture
• Experience in the insurance services industry is preferred
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and methodologies, as well as data and process modeling
• Proficiency in technologies such as .NET, C#, Java, SQL, and data warehousing tools
