Principal Architect

Job Summary

To support advanced AI systems, the temporary remote Principal Architect will design and build production APIs, manage large-scale workflows, and ensure operational reliability while leveraging backend engineering expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Designing and operating production APIs and services, ensuring scalability and reliability
• Building agentic products and orchestrating batch workflows using foundation models and AI components
• Monitoring and improving production systems for uptime, performance, and quality assurance

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in programming languages such as Java, Golang, Python, or JavaScript
• 2+ years of experience architecting search and information retrieval systems at scale
• 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience building agentic products or solutions
• 5+ years of experience shipping production software in enterprise or consumer environments
• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience required
