Principal Architect

Job Summary

Seeking a strategic and technical Principal Architect, the fully remote position will design the architecture evolution for Lumen Connect, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance while driving cloud-native solutions on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a data-driven backend architecture to enhance response times and reliability
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Act as a technical liaison between engineering, product, business, and external partners

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 8+ years with a master's degree
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud-native design experience
• Proven experience in software architecture and technical program management
• Experience in application development using Java Microservices and Spring Boot
• Experience in implementing CI/CD, preferably using GitHub/Jenkins
