Principal Architect, AI Engineering

Job Summary

Guiding the Core AI Agentic Development Team, the full-time remote Principal Architect, AI Engineering will lead the design and delivery of scalable multi-agent AI systems, providing architectural direction and mentorship to Senior AI Engineers while overseeing the development of agentic applications that optimize healthcare revenue cycle management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of scalable, multi-agent AI systems and ensure alignment with business goals and healthcare requirements
• Mentor and guide a team of AI engineers, fostering best practices in LLM development and system design
• Define and implement governance and monitoring strategies to ensure the safe and compliant behavior of AI systems in production

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in architecting multi-agent orchestration systems and deploying oracle/supervisor agents
• Demonstrated leadership in guiding software development teams through the product lifecycle using agile methodologies
• Expertise in advanced Python programming and production LLM deployment
• Experience establishing rigorous governance and safety guardrails for AI systems
• Familiarity with healthcare revenue lifecycle and financial operations is preferred
