Principal Architect - Colorado

Job Summary

Owning the target medallion architecture on OneLake, the full-time Principal Architect - Colorado will lead the evaluation of Microsoft Fabric versus Azure Databricks, define architectural standards, and provide technical leadership to engineering teams while working onsite in Denver, CO.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce architectural standards and conventions for all workstreams
• Design the Data Backbone and implement a data-quality gate framework with monitoring capabilities
• Lead technical governance and ensure traceability and auditability of data throughout its lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks
• Strong background in data architecture and governance
• Experience in designing data-quality frameworks and KPI certification models
• Familiarity with AI/ML engineering and automation processes
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security and platform teams
