Job Summary
Leading complex digital banking transformations, the contracted-to-full-time Principal Architect - Digital Banking will own architecture and technical leadership for Canadian credit unions, guiding multidisciplinary teams and establishing integration strategies in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own architecture and technical leadership for digital banking transformations, including Forge-to-VeriPark migrations
- Assess current-state environments and define target-state architectures across various banking systems
- Lead architecture governance and mentor engineering teams from architecture through implementation and go-live
Required qualifications
- 12+ years in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or senior technology leadership
- Significant experience within Canadian credit unions, banking, or financial services
- Proven leadership in major digital banking modernization or platform migration projects
- Strong understanding of digital banking architecture, core banking integration, and APIs
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture
