Principal Architect - Retail

Job Summary

Leading architectural initiatives for retail platforms, the full-time Principal Architect - Retail will drive AI-driven solutions and ensure alignment with business strategies while collaborating with senior stakeholders and development teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Influence architecture across multiple platforms and mentor development teams while partnering with senior Ops and Technology leadership
• Translate business and product strategies into scalable solution architectures and multi-year technology roadmaps
• Drive execution of the Retail technology vision through ownership of architecture and platform roadmaps, balancing short-term delivery with long-term objectives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 12+ years of experience in at least two IT disciplines, including Application/Solution architecture and Technical/Infrastructure architecture
• 5+ years of experience with large-scale Retail, Supply Chain, or ERP systems
• Experience leading development or product management teams for 5+ years
• 2+ years working in an Agile model
