Principal Architect, Security

Job Summary

To advance enterprise security architecture, the full-time remote Principal Architect, Security will define security standards and strategies for corporate systems and network environments, focusing on Zero Trust, threat detection, and cloud security.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise security architecture, including Zero Trust strategy and identity-based access controls
• Establish network security architecture and DDoS protection strategies for Ziply's infrastructure
• Partner with Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) to translate regulatory requirements into security architecture designs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in security architecture, including defining enterprise architecture standards
• Expertise in Zero Trust design, identity-based access controls, and network security architecture
• Experience with IAM and PAM platforms at an enterprise scale
• Cloud security architecture experience in at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
