Job Summary
Owning the enterprise IP address management architecture, the full-time remote Principal Architect, Technology in IPAM, Peering & Caching will define and execute peering strategies, manage IPAM governance, and design content caching strategies to optimize internet performance.
Key responsibilities
- Define and manage the enterprise IPAM architecture, including IPv4/IPv6 address planning and lifecycle management
- Develop and execute peering strategies, optimizing routing and managing peering relationships
- Design and oversee content caching strategies to enhance subscriber experience and reduce transit costs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of IP network engineering experience at an ISP or broadband operator with expertise in IPAM, peering, and content caching
- Expert-level knowledge of BGP, peering policy, and traffic engineering
- Hands-on experience with IPAM platforms like NetBox or Infoblox
- Deep understanding of CDN caching architectures and experience with major CDN providers
