Principal ASIC Architect

Job Summary

To define the future of AI inference hardware, the remote Principal ASIC Architect will collaborate across various teams to design next-generation AI accelerators, focusing on architectural exploration, performance modeling, and hardware/software co-design.

Key Responsibilities

• Own architectural exploration of transformer models and evaluate emerging techniques for next-generation accelerators
• Develop analytical models to assess architectural tradeoffs, including latency, throughput, and power efficiency
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align hardware direction with real workload needs and define product roadmaps

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in ASIC architecture
• Deep expertise in AI accelerator design and high-performance SoCs
• Hands-on experience building performance models for memory systems and interconnects
• Strong hardware/software co-design ability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
