Job Summary
Leading the design of high-impact, research-aligned assessment experiences, the full-time remote Principal Assessment Designer will manage product development, mentor teams, and drive innovation in digital learning while collaborating across functions to ensure quality and impact.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the design of high-quality, research-aligned assessment products through cross-functional collaboration
- Translate educational research and measurement sciences into actionable design strategies while mentoring peers and guiding best practices
- Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and feedback, leading innovation in digital assessment experiences
Required qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in measurement sciences, education, instructional design, or related field, or commensurate experience
- 7 or more years of experience in assessment design or a related field
- Expertise in assessment design principles and measurement science
- Experience presenting at and participating in external councils and convenings
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms and tools
