Principal Automation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Automation Project Engineer for Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of automation projects, from defining technical requirements to overseeing installation
• Act as a subject matter expert in automated assembly and test systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Ensure seamless handover of automation projects to receiving site teams and support engineering hiring and troubleshooting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent military or technical training
• At least 12 years of experience in automation equipment development and installation
• Knowledge and experience of ISO 13485 required
• Healthcare experience with the assembly of medical devices is required
• Complex understanding of processes and manufacturing techniques
