Principal Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Shaping enterprise architecture for AI automation and business transformation, the full-time remote Principal Automation Engineer will define standards and governance for scalable automation initiatives, improve operational efficiency, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance business outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the evaluation and definition of architectural frameworks for AI automation and transformation initiatives
- Design and establish scalable, resilient automation patterns across various platforms and workflows
- Mentor AI Automation Engineers and business stakeholders to elevate automation architecture maturity and execution quality
Required qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in solution, enterprise, or platform architecture roles
- Strong hands-on experience with modern automation and integration platforms
- Experience designing AI-enabled, API-driven architectures for enterprise workflows
- Deep understanding of automation patterns, middleware, and data transformation processes
