Principal Autonomy Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Autonomy Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, integrate, test, and demonstrate advanced algorithms and software systems for autonomous platforms
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring throughout the software and system development lifecycle
• Develop software tools and applications for mission planning systems and automated enterprise control processes

Required Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field with 10+ years' experience
• Proven ability to develop, implement, integrate, and test autonomy algorithms and software for uncrewed systems
• 8+ years of in-depth OOP experience with Java and/or C++
• Experience with micro-service architectures, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools
• Demonstrated ability to adopt new languages, libraries, and technologies
