Principal Avionics Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Avionics/Command and Data Handling Subsystem Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop subsystem designs and perform requirements definition and flow-down
• Create interface specifications and design documents related to Avionics subsystems
• Collaborate with other engineers to provide command and data handling expertise and perform system verification and validation

Required Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field; or equivalent experience
• 15 years of experience in electrical system command and data handling architecture or relevant electrical/avionics engineering experience
• Familiarity with the space environment and its effects on satellite systems
• Experience in analysis, design, and implementation of hardware systems
