Principal Azure/.NET Architect

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Principal Azure/.NET Solution Architect for a remote contract position, responsible for modernizing a critical .NET/Azure platform while collaborating with senior stakeholders and ensuring operational continuity.

Key responsibilities:

• Assess current architecture and define a practical modernization roadmap
• Identify bounded contexts and service boundaries across various business capabilities
• Provide architecture guardrails and translate architecture decisions into business impact

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering/architecture
• Strong background in .NET, C#, and ASP.NET Core
• Extensive Azure architecture experience including App Services and Azure SQL
• Experience in modernizing monolithic platforms into modular services
• Ability to work with senior business and technology leadership
