Principal Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Software Engineer, Policy Management (Backend).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex backend software engineering projects focusing on APIs, data processing, infrastructure, and platform
• Drive the strategy, vision, and execution of key engineering initiatives while mentoring and guiding engineers
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring high-quality maintainable code through code reviews and technical proposals

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, focusing on backend, platform, or system programming
• Experience with Python and its ecosystem
• Experience designing and building multi-tenant SaaS platforms
• Experience with cloud service providers in a production setting (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
• Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms
