Principal Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Software Engineer, Applications (Backend).

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement scalable APIs and OLTP database schemas
• Build backend services for Security Policy Drift Detection and integrate LLMs for insights
• Drive technical direction, mentor engineers, and ensure system reliability and availability

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in backend software engineering with a focus on APIs and data systems
• Production experience with Python and relational databases
• Strong background in API design and multi-tenant SaaS architectures
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design
• US Citizenship or Green Card holder
