Principal Backend Software Engineer

Job Summary

Passionate about backend engineering, the full-time Principal Backend Software Engineer will design and implement high-performance systems in Rust, optimize software architectures, and actively participate in the development lifecycle while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, testable systems and tools in Rust
• Optimize existing software architectures to enhance speed and efficiency
• Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, ensuring software quality through debugging and optimization

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience developing backend systems at scale
• 5+ years of experience with relational databases such as Postgres
• 5+ years of experience with NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch
• 5+ years of experience working in a microservices architecture
• Solid experience and understanding of Rust programming
