Principal Bioinformatician

Job Summary

Leading computational analyses to support translational strategies, the full-time Principal Bioinformatician will integrate multi-modality clinical and biomarker datasets, focusing on biomarker discovery and validation while collaborating with various teams, either from Somerset, NJ, or remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct translational biomarker analysis using various multi-omics assays and technologies
• Support the discovery and validation of biomarkers by correlating data with clinical outcomes and pharmacodynamic measurements
• Build and maintain scalable bioinformatics pipelines and contribute to data governance strategies

Required Qualifications

• PhD (5+ years) or MS (8+ years) in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or related fields
• Strong expertise in bioinformatics and statistics, with experience in translational research in oncology or immunology
• Proficient in R and/or Python programming and familiar with Linux/Unix environments
• Experience with workflow management systems and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) preferred
• Background in gene and cell therapy is a plus
