Principal Biostatistician

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Principal Biostatistician will design studies, prepare statistical analysis plans, and analyze data from pharmacokinetic and clinical studies while contributing to interdisciplinary project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design clinical studies and construct data analysis plans to meet protocol requirements
• Perform statistical analyses on clinical and pharmacokinetic data using appropriate methods and software
• Train and supervise less experienced personnel in statistical and pharmacokinetic techniques

Required qualifications

• PhD or postgraduate degree with a scientific focus preferred; Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience required
• Excellent SAS programming skills and proficiency in WinNonlin, nQuery, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines and FDA guidance documents
• Ability to read, write, and understand complex literature and create clear study reports
• Strong organizational skills and ability to interact effectively with clients and team members
