Principal Business Analyst

Job Summary

Acting as a key liaison between insurance carriers and software delivery teams, the full-time remote Principal Business Analyst will lead requirements discovery, analysis, and documentation for Property & Casualty billing processes while configuring billing systems to meet client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirements discovery, analysis, and documentation for P&C billing processes, rules, products, and integrations
• Collaborate with product, configuration, technical, and client stakeholders to design and validate end-to-end billing solutions
• Act as a functional SME and Product Owner, providing backlog input and delivering training to clients and internal teams

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a strategic Business Analyst role on large-scale IT projects, with at least 4+ years focused on P&C Billing
• Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance billing, payments, and related regulations
• Proven ability to elicit, analyze, and document requirements into practical solution designs
• Hands-on experience in Agile/SAFe environments, including backlog management and collaboration with global teams
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
